Enrollment Procedure

Children 2 ½ - 5 years of age are eligible to be enrolled in the preschool and child care program. Small World Development Center admits children of all races, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities afforded to every child enrolled in the center. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in our admission policies.

There will be no refund of registration fee, book fee, testing fee, or tuition.
You may enroll your child/children any day of the week, or any week of the school year with an appointment if space is available.

All new children are accepted on a probationary status, in order to give the center enough time to access the child’s ability to adjust to a new environment.
To enroll a child the parent(s) or guardian(s) must bring the child into the center for an assessment, and a tour of the facility. At that time there will be a brief interview with the parent(s) or guardian(s). An orientation will be scheduled for a later date. This will give the parent(s) or guardian(s) the opportunity to gather all the necessary documentation for the center.  The following will need to be completed:
1. Application
2. Placement contract
3. Child information card
4. Physical and immunization record

In order for a child to begin school he/she must have a completed health form, record of immunizations, and an original birth certificate. If the health form is not completed by the enrollment date it must be submitted within two weeks. While awaiting the health form the center shall retain the immunization record
